Dr. Andranik Ovassapian

Dr. Andranik Ovassapian received his medical degree in 1962 from shiraz university. he continued his education at university of pennsylvania, where he completed his anesthesiology and research fellowship training. Dr. Ovassapian returned to shiraz university medical school in 1968 and served az Associated professor and chairman of the depastment of anesthesiology for six years. In 1974, returned to the US and joined the Department of Anesthesiology at North western university in Chicago and was promoted to professor of Anesthesiology in 1983. In 1998 he joined Department of Anesthesia and critical care at the university of Chicago and established the airway study and training centers. He has outhored 3 books and published 42 peer-reviewed articles, 51 Abstracts, and 50 book chapters of Anesthesiology references books and received several scientific words from united state and other countries. Dr Ovassapian is involved in many local, stat, national and international societies and has served as president of the Illinois society of Anesthesiology he initiated  the formation of the society for airway management.

ِDr Friedrich Karl Pühringer

Chairman and Professor at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Operative Intensivmedizin, Klinikum am Steinenberg, Reutlingen, Academic Hospital of the University of Tübingen, Germany. Professor Pühringer received his Medical Degree  from the Innsbruck Medical School, University of Innsbruck, Austria in 1987, which was followed by position as a Research Fellow at the “Klinik fur Anaesthesia und Allgemeine Intensivmedizin in Innsbruck, Austria in 1987-1988. Professor Pühringer has completed his residency in 1993 at the Klinik fur Anaesthesia und Allgemeine Intensivmedizin in Innsbruck, Austria and received his Specialist in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine in 1993. Professor Pühringer held many academic positions of increasing importance; 1993-2000 Specialist and Senior Lecturer at the Anaesthesia Departments Gynecology and Obstetrics, Cardiovascular Surgery, ENT, Traumatology and Emergency Medicine at Innsbruck University. 1997 Habilitation (Ph.D) and “Venia legendi” for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine from the Medical Faculty at Innsbruck University. 1997 he become an Associate Professor in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine Since 2000 until present he is a Chairman of the Department Anaesthesiologie und operative Intensivmedizin, Klinikum am Steinenberg in Reutlingen, Germany. His education also includes many other activities such as;Training in the Guidelines According Good Clinical Practice at the Research Institute in Vienna, and Management Education (International Diploma for Hospital Management) at the School of Economics  at University of Innsbruck. Professor Pühringers main research interests are within pharmacology of muscle relaxants, neuromuscular monitoring, airway management,  the use of supraglottic airway devices in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine, and  the influence of airway device on ventilation and perfusion of the lungs. Professor Pϋhringer is author and co-author of 68 original papers, several letters to editor, 7 editorials, 80 abstracts and published 29 articles in books. He has delivered more than 200 lectures at the International and National conferences. Professor Pühringer is a reviewer for British Journal of Anaesthesia, Acta Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica, and Der Anästhesist. Professor Pühringer is a member of many professional organizations and associations; European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA) International Anesthesia research Society (IARS),Scandinavian Society of Anaesthesiologists  (SSA) and European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), OGARI (Austrian Society for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine); DGAI (German Society for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine) and BDA (Berufsverband deutscher Anästhesisten).

Dr. David Meisenzahl

Dr. David Meisenzahl, born in 1967 in Mainz (Germany). He studied medicine and graduated at Mainz university in 1996, then he entered residency course and graduated at university of Mainz in 2004. Now he is the senior physician at the department of anesthesiology in Frankfurt. He was the senior physicion at the department of anesthesiology in university of Mainz before then. Dr. Meisenzahl’s work experience and additional skills is in:  emergency medicine, pain therapy, ICU, ultrasound guided regional anesthesia.

Dr. Ashish Sinha

After doing medical school and internship in India, Dr Sinha went to the USA to pursue his PhD in Biochemistry & Genetics at the University of Texas in Galveston.  This was followed with fellowships in Immunology, Surgical Infectious Diseases and Hyperbaric Medicine. After a year in General Surgery, Dr Sinha trained in Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After that Dr Sinha was on the faculty of MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston as an anesthesiologist for 4 years. Dr Sinha has been at University of Pennsylvania for the last 4 years and has faculty appointments in Anesthesiology & Critical Care, Otorhinolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery as well the Institute of Translational Medicine and Therapeutics as an Investigator.

Dr. Mashallah Goodarzi, 68 y/o, Born in Iran, Citizenship of USA. He got his diploma from Ebne Sina high school in 1961, and entered at Pahlavi university school of medicine Shiraz, Iran. After graduation he passed his residency in anesthesiology in Chicago, Illinois and graduated in 1974. He got pediatric anesthesia fellowship in 1975. He was candidated for several scientific awards during the years of his practice and researches in Los Angles, and honored to be the winner of humanism award in 2008. He is the associated professor of southern California university at present.

Dr. YK CHAN

Professor YK CHAN works in the Department of Anaesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Malaysia. She qualified as an Anaesthesiologist with the Irish degree (FFARCS, Ireland) in 1986. Her main interest is in obstetric analgesia and anaesthesia and also in Acute Care. She is spearheading interest in the proper management of the acutely ill patient at the frontline. In advancing that effort she has written 2 books, Practical Aspects of Acute Care and Management Aspects of Acute Care with the idea of reaching out to the non-anaesthesiologists with mainstream knowledge and skills of an anaesthesiologist. She was invited to speak in the prestigious Harold Griffith Plenary lectures on “The role of Anaesthesiologists in the education of the non-anaesthesiologists” in the World Congress in Capetown in 2008.

Dr. Fauzia Khan

She is Currently Professor and Head of Department of Anaesthesia at the Aga Khan University, Karachi Pakistan. She received his MBBS from King Edward Medical College-Lahore, Pakistan 1976. She continued training in anesthesia in UK from 1980to 1984. She is examiner for FCPS in Anaesthesia, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. Dr Fauzia Khan is author of more than 80 papers in indexed international anaesthesia journals and national journals. Her research interests are Haemodynamic changes associated with anaesthesia, safety and quality in anaesthetic practice, use of alternatives to short acting potent opoids in anaesthesia, gender and pain. She is current member of WFSA Scientific Committee.

Dr. Surender Kumar Malhotra

Dr. S.K. Malhotra Completed MD (Anaesthesia) from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research  (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. He joined the faculty as lecturer in Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 1985. Presently designated as Professor, Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. Dr. Mohamad Abbasian

Dr Mohamad Abbasian was born in 1961. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Tehran University of medical sciences and continued his postgraduation training in University of Florida, College of Medicine at Jacksonville and University of Florida, Collage of Medicine at Gainesville, Dept of Anesthesiology. Dr. Muhammad Qamarul Hoda is currently Professor & Consultant Anesthesiologist of Department of Anesthesiology Aga Khan University, Karachi. He received his M.C.P.S. from College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan 1989 and continued training in anesthesia in Faculty of Anaesthesia, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1991.
